Our company is involved in real estate investing in the local area, and we also train investors around the country. This work requires ambitious self-starters who can manage themselves and follow simple instructions. In the next few paragraphs I will explain the duties, what is expected of you and how you get paid. You can get paid incredible amounts with loads of flexibility and freedom, so pay attention. After you learn what to say and who to say it to, you simply go out, see the people and set appointments that can be followed up on. If you are working in Maryland, there will also be some specific training of the law you will need to understand. Nothing you can't master for incredible returns.
The big money comes when you work with an investor that can buy and sell the property. Usually, the goal is to quickly sell the house, usually within 30 days or less. At that point you may get a fee based on a percentage of the sales price or in accordance with your agreement with the homeowner.
So, let's say you set an appointment with someone who lives in an average type home. After the investor buys and sells it you've earned often thousands of dollars in fees. $3000 to $5000 is not unusual. This is just something you need to master. One Researcher I have been working with is on track to make in excess of $100,000 in the next year, and she's willing to help you get going!!
In addition to the money, another great thing about this work is the freedom. You don't have set hours and you don't have anyone breathing down your neck. Part time is okay. You may just want to keep records for statistical purposes so you can be coached to be more effective and create even more opportunities.
But if you put some good time to this, you can't help but earn some huge fees. One top researcher last quarter had three houses sell in one month. Imagine how much money that person made. It's incredible.
So what do you need? You need a car, a digital camera(even inexpensive one), email and you need to be able to read a map. Each day you need to keep track of what you are doing and share it with your coach so you can be more effective. But that's it. You don't have to know anything about real estate or selling or anything else. Just meet the requirement of the law and set up an appointment to talk to the owner of the house.
Now we are very busy and very successful, and we are very picky of whom we train. It's just not worth it to invest our time and money in someone who doesn't have a chance to work out. That's why there is this page. We can tell our story over and over without spending our time.

So let me walk you through a typical day doing this, and then I'll tell you your next step if you are interested.
Let's say you've decided to work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of a given week; from 9am to noon. You'll be trained where to get leads, you can then plot them on a map or create your own "route." You prepare your drop off materials to leave at the door in case they aren't home. Then you get in the car and go see the people.
The area will probably cover no more than an hour of distance from start to finish. As time goes and your leads stack up, your area will actually get tighter, that is smaller. You'll be seeing more people in a smaller geographical area. This will make you more efficient as time goes on.
Let's say you find someone home. You introduce yourself, offer help to their situation. You try to set an appointment for them to talk to an experienced investor and get their telephone number. There is a little more to it in Maryland, but that is pretty much it. If you get either the appointment or even just the phone number, you are already on your way to those big checks.
Later in the day you email the info back to us and we take it from there. You may need to stop back by in the future or we may be able to handle it all ourselves. If the house is bought and sold, you get huge checks. Not bad eh?
Can't work one week? No problem. Nothing about this requires excuses like any other job you will do. You set your schedule.
So what are the best times to work? Day and night! Since these folks are in foreclosure, many of them have lost their jobs and are home all day. Can't work days? No problem, go out at night anytime until about 8:30 or 9:00 pm. Only can work weekends, no problem. Weekends are great for this business. One researcher has found that Sunday afternoons are the very best time.
It's a great opportunity with very flexible hours. It's fun and very challenging.
So if it's that great, why is it you can get paid so much with so much flexibility? Because most folks just won't do it. Most people are scared to death of knocking on a stranger's door. Those that have knocked on doors before find this more difficult as you can't just pick a neighborhood and knock each door. You need to drive an average of 5 to 15 minutes from door to door.
And finally, these folks who you'll be knocking on are in distress. They are about to lose their homes. This usually means something terrible has already been happening in their lives to get them into this situation. Because of this they are more reluctant to talk to a stranger than most. This is the challenge. If you are good at gaining peoples' trust quickly, a good listener, an easy conversationalist, then you can overcome this. For this type of person, it truly is great work with great pay and super flexibility and freedom.
If, on the other hand, you take rejection personally, you have trouble thinking on your feet, you can't keep commitments, then this opportunity is definitely not for you. In that case, just close this page and move on.
