Jim and Susie's Story

Jim and Susie were thinking about buying a new home so that their home will meet their family's needs better.  They begin to look around at houses and most of what they look at appear to have been produced by a "cookie cutter".  Each house they look at has some things they like and other things they don't like.  Some of the houses have extravagancies that they think are a waste of money while other houses are missing some of the nice things that they want to have.  None of the houses have the exact floor plan that they want.

Faced with this conflict, Jim and Susie start looking at hiring a builder to custom build a home.  The first builder they visit builds more than 100 homes per year and Jim and Susie are surprised to find that the builder is very inflexible regarding options.  Essentially with this builder they will end up with a cookie cutter home because the builder knows what he can make the most money from and does not want to venture into other areas.  Jim and Susie figure out that this is not really the type of builder they are looking for.

Next Jim and Susie start looking for someone who claims to be a custom builder -- and who truly can custom build to suit their needs. Patent Pending Powerwall Building System

  • Our new Powerwall building system will offer greater benefits to homeowners in energy efficiency and protection.
  • The wall system uses 50% less lumber than traditional building practices.
  • Where possible and cost effective we plan on using recycled lumber due to the fact that recycled studs remain straight and true and are stronger than standard wood studs. The woods studs may be replaced with metal studs or concrete piers if desired.
  • The Powerwall system is tied down from the top to the bottom and is extremely resistant to high winds and uplift. By reducing the weight of the walls we have also created a home that has incredible flexibility and has the capability to float in flood prone areas if desired. The increased flexibility of the building system has a distinct advantage in earthquake prone areas as well. The repair cost should be minimal in the event of a disaster.
  • The exterior and interior sidings can be traditional if desired, although we strongly recommend that you go with one of our spray on cementious products that will make the home fire resistant, bullet resistant, leak resistant, as well as strengthening the home.
  • The 6" to 8" exterior walls are filled with EPS foam and are extremely energy efficient and reduce sound transmissions. Utility bills should be 50% to 60% less than conventional housing.
  • We will continue to use only the best for interior finishes by utilizing as many recycled materials as possible. This system is not limited to style, shape, or size.
  • Our engineering and design staff will be more than willing to custom design the home or building of your dreams. We will feel privileged and honored to build the home or building of your dreams.
